Balconies come in different shapes and styles, squared, half moon, with bellied pickets, with bellied scrollwork etc. In some cases all that is need is the guardrail, assuming that the building has provided a floor or base where the balcony guardrail will rest on. When the building does not provide a base or floor. An iron platform will be fabricated to support the guardrail, thus becoming a full iron balcony, to which under supports can be added for strength and aesthetics. The platform just like any other iron item can be as basic and simple or as ornate and elaborate as desired. These are only some ideas of the endless possibilities.
